We thought it might be interesting for you all to meet the staff that work at Bertie Browns ( The Bertie Babes) and find out a wee bit more about them……..  

 

  

Jane “Queen Bee”    

Jane is Bertie Browns (maiden name was “Bertie” married name was “Brown”) She is Queen Bee of the Bertie Babes which is not a job for the faint hearted so she can often be seen with a glass (or two!) in her hand! Jane has overall responsibility for all aspects of the business. Has to be worshipped daily.  

Catchphrase ” I don’t care what anyone says about you Rhona – I think you’re great!”  

 

Linda “DIY Guru”  

Linda is in charge of all window and instore visual displays and customer service. She is rarely seen without a hammer or a screwdriver in her hand  (that’s the tool and the cocktail!) When moving shops, Linda tripped over a tool box and the painter caught her by the boobs – she still can’t look at him without going red!
 
Catchphrase ” Wait ’til I get my tool bag!”

   

 

Rhona “Domestic Goddess”  

Rhona is in charge of product stock levels and the general smooth running of the shop. She is also “rubbish supervisor”!! She can knit, sew or cook anything! You could survive for a month on the food contents of her handbag!  

Catchphrase ” It’s not the work of 5 minutes you know Bertie!”  

  

    

Jo “Celeb Gossip and fashion Expert”  

Jo is in charge of office admin and Bertie Browns’ fab website. She just loves answering the phones (odd!) and speaking to people in general. She knows so much celeb news that Heat Magazine contact her for stories! A starlet in the making, she is off to work in Florida for a year with Disney ( boohoo!) Also knows TopShop stock better than any of the store managers!  

Catchphrase ” It was hilarious!!”  

  

    

Debbie “Glamour Girl”  

Debbie works part-time for Bertie Browns and has the patience of a saint! She has never been seen without her hair done or her lippy on and has 2 brushes just for drying her fringe!! Won’t even take her bins out with a full face of slap!  

Catchphrase ” Awww……yeahhhh…”  

    

  

    

   Sadie “Fully Faked Baked”  

Sadie has a proper job Monday – Friday but loves Bertie’s so much she works here on Saturdays! She is small but loud and is fun, fun fun! Her handwriting leaves a lot to be desired ( as does her singing)  and is prone to the odd bout of clumsiness. Fake tans so often even she doesn’t know what her natural skin colour is! Rhona has a mahogany coffee table in a similar shade!

Laura “The (not so) Mature Student”  

Laura is a full-time student at Aberdeen University studying Radiography (oooh!) Well, when we say full-time – you know students!! She works at Bertie Browns on Saturdays to fund her socialising. Always seen with her head in a book studying for her latest exam. Well, that’s when she’s not on facebook chatting to her pals!  

Catchphrase ” Oh no! Only….days ’til my exams!!”
